Welcome To RCC

Roselands was planted by a number of local Baptist churches in the early 90’s. Our pastor Malc Reddaway joined us in 2008 along with his wife Jane.  The two of them are currently joined on the leadership team by Ali King, Liz Batchelor and Philip Eley. As a fellowship we believe we’re called to be a holy, worshipping community in the heart of the Roselands area of Paignton.  We desire to love God, live for Him and share Him with those who live in this lovely part of Devon.  We number around 45 adults, we don’t operate a formal membership but welcome everyone into the family who loves God a little and wants to love Him more. Our Sunday services are relaxed times, where participation is encouraged, where worship is vital, prayer plays a central role and where we believe we all have something to offer.  We aim to have something for everyone during our worship times, we focus on scripture and most weeks we share the Lord’s supper together. We meet in Roselands Primary School and work in partnership with them in many ways.  Malc was a school governor for seven years, leads assemblies and as a church we serve the school in both practical and financial ways.  We feel the school is a wonderful place to meet and is a great school all round.

Did you know?

We're a Baptist Church. We might not own a building that looks like a traditional chapel but don't let our alternative surroundings put you off. We're a Bible believing, God serving and Spirit led bunch of believers who are committed to Jesus. You'll find us each Sunday morning in Roselands Primary School Hall, it's just off Roselands Drive down Lynmouth Avenue. Coffee and cake will be flowing from 10.30am, we'll aim to start our service as close to 10.45am as possible.

Baptists Together

We stand alongside approximately 2,000 other Baptist churches in the UK united under the Baptist Union of Great Britain.  As one of the smaller churches we are supported by the Baptists Together Home Mission Fund.  Malc meets regularly with other ministers within the Baptist family locally and links in to joint initiatives when possible.

Being in Devon we come under the South West Baptist Association, Malc our pastor is one of their trustees and has a role in supporting mission.
